Security beefed up for Beyonce

Beyonce Knowles' security guards have reportedly been asked to watch out for obsessed fan Bassey Essien when the singer headlines Sound of Change concert Saturday.

Essien, who had been sending threatening letters to the singer since 2009, has been warned to stay away from the 31-year-old star, thesun.co.uk reports.

Knowles had also won an anti-harassment order in court in 2011, prohibiting him from troubling her.

"Staff have been briefed on the situation and pictures of him have been passed round. They've been told to keep their eyes open and be extra vigilant," a source said.

"Security has been increased on a few engagements now, especially for her (British) promo. It is believed similar letters to the ones that Essien sent have been received," he added. (Source)

Elizabeth Taylor's wedding gown to be auctioned

Late actress Elizabeth Taylor's first wedding dress will be auctioned by Christie's here June 26. It is expected to raise 50,000 pounds.

The Helen Rose-designed shell-white satin gown was worn by her when she married Hilton Hotel founder Conrad Hilton in 1950, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

Taylor was gifted the dress by film studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to which the "Cleopatra" actress was contracted.

The star, who died in 2011 from congestive heart failure, married seven more times. (Source)

Actress Milla Jovovich has a unique way of lifting up her husband's mood. She send him photographs of herself naked.

The model-turned-actress is married to filmmaker Paul W.S. Anderson. Often, due to work commitments, they have to stay apart for weeks at a time. But Jovovich keeps sending him pictures of herself through the phone, reports dailystar.co.uk.

Robert Pattinson's final bust-up with Kristen Stewart was sparked by his date with singer Katy Perry, it has been revealed.

According to a close pal, the 27-year-old actor hooked up with Perry for a night out in New York two weeks before he split from Stewart, the Daily Star reported.

Actress Bella Rapone, a friend of the singer, said, "She and Rob started off in the Bowery Ballroom, where they watched a gig by the indie band Daughter with a whole bunch of people, mainly pals of hers.

Then they took off with a smaller group for a much more intimate venue, The Spot at the Trump SoHo Hotel.

She said that it was obvious there was chemistry between them, and that they've always liked each other.

Kim Kardashian apparently has a zany transvestite look-alike in Austria.

Austrian Europop star Conchita Wurst, whose real name is Tom Neuwirth, was spotted mingling with the stars at the Life Ball in Vienna earlier this week, the New York Post reported.

The bystanders were stunned at the Columbia-born singer's striking similarity with the reality star.

Wurst wore Kardashian-style long locks, curled to a glossy perfection atop the skin-tight getup, but he lacked the mom-to-be's pregnancy curves and sported a pitch-black beard. (Source)

Katy Perry, Robert Pattinson crash wedding rehearsal together

Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson were spotted watching a wedding rehearsal of a pair of strangers from the back of a courtyard at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara.

An eyewitness told People magazine said that the 28-year-old singer was wearing a hoodie and big sunglasses.

The source explained that the pair just sat next to each other watching the wedding rehearsal in the main courtyard area and there was no PDA between them, the New York Daily News reported.

The source asserted that there was no body language that showed that Perry and Pattinson were dating.

The pair have been friends for sometime, and according to reports, Perry encouraged him to end his relationship with Stewart after she felt that Stewart's cheating scandal irreparably damaged the couple's relationship. (Source)

Britney Spears has reportedly agreed to make her relationship with David Lucado official but the singer's father doesn't want her to rush into anything.

She was first snapped with him in February 2013, reports entertainmentwise.com.

"He's fallen for her big time and loves her kids. Lucado wants to make things official and Spears is all for it," a source said.

Spears' father Jamie Spears is not against Lucado but doesn't want his daughter to take decisions in haste.

"He likes Lucado, but they've only been dating a few months. Jamie is hoping she doesn't rush into anything," the source said.
