WAS asked on Nine’s Mornings today if I thought that Kim Kardashian’s
latest spot of bare, er, cheeked exhibitionism could be seen as
amounting to her striking a blow for “loving the skin you’re in” — ie
for the body-acceptance movement, and whether posing for the shot above
was actually a positive for mothers as it reminded people you can still
be sexy post-baby.I have no issue with Kardashian continuing to cash in on the assets that have made her very wealthy and very famous, two things she’s put much energy into achieving. If you want to use your body to make your living as an adult, go your hardest.
But this latest lacquered like a lollipop effort of Kim’s is not about doing anything for the greater good, or for helping other women with a large bum feel better about themselves.
This is just Kim, 34, further promoting brand Kim, not something one half of the most self-interested couple in Hollywood has done for greater social good. (source)
