Ego fights led to final break up of `Girls Aloud`

Girls Aloud has recently come under the spotlight again in the wake of their split and sources have revealed that the group fell victim to the tons of cat fights between the members.

According to the sources close to the pop girl group, Britain's best loved bands put on a brave face when they threw a farewell party during the week, despite the fighting and battle of egos that led to the end, the Daily Star reported.

The latest fight to rock the chart-topping band erupted when Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts declared they were through with the group for good, but stunned Nadine Coyle and Kimberly Walsh demanded the door be left open for a return and new album within two years.

An insider revealed that it was really dramatic and there were a lot of tears as Coyle and Cole were both fighting their corner and nobody was prepared to budge.

Coyle was accusing 29-year-old Cole of being selfish and saying she was trying to control everything and ruining their futures in the music business, behind her back, the source said.

The insider added that she was also complaining that she didn't get paid enough for the tour and should have got at least double the money for doing all the lead vocals night after night.

Sources added that Cole though it was nonsense and they only ever agreed to get back together for an anniversary tour and then leave it at that, but she thinks Coyle is just thinking of herself because her solo career failed.

Sources say Coyle's tweet that the split was not her choice was an act of revenge against Cole. (Source)

Joss Stone's kidnappers also named Beyonce and Girls Aloud in dark diary

Two men accused of plotting to rob and behead singer Joss Stone also named other musical stars including Beyonce and Girls Aloud in their kidnap diary, a court was told.

Entries included "chop off arm leg crossbow" and "decapitate them," the Daily Star reported.

The book, which was shared by 35-year-old Kevin Liverpool and 32-year-old Junior Bradshaw, was seized from the Longsight flat in Manchester.

The Exeter Crown court heard how Liverpool had scribbled detailed notes on the 25-year-old soul diva's background, career and album sales.

The jury also heard about other entries, which talked of the need to buy a semi-automatic gun, a silencer, infra-red equipment and a "Ninja sword" for the alleged attack in Devon.

However, while the trial continues, the men denied the three charges of conspiracy to murder, rob and cause GBH. (Source)

Kevin Liverpool, 35, and Junior Bradshaw, 32, accused of planning to rob and kill singer Joss Stone had also written names of singer Beyonce Knowles and members of Girls Aloud in their kidnap diary, reports dailystar.co.uk.

The diary entries included - chop off arm, leg crossbow and decapitate them.
