Amanda Bynes turns down Playboy radio show

Actress Amanda Bynes refused to do her own daily radio show offered by Playboy radio as she wants to focus on her music career.

The 27-year-old actress was offered a full-time job by the radio station and despite being interested in the opportunity, she rejected the offer as her focus is on the album she is recording, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"I want to do the show. But I can't because I'm recording an album!" tmz.com quoted her as saying.

"I'll go on their show for an interview when I'm promoting my album," she added.

Playboy initially offered her a guest hosting gig on Monday but decided to officially offer her an hour long daily radio show on a week's trial Tuesday. And if the producers would have been impressed by her, the station was planning to offer her a one-year contract.

Amanda recently revealed she is determined to have a career as a rapper.

She wrote on her Twitter page: "Look forward to seeing me in music videos! I'm getting in shape and getting a nose job! I'm looking forward to a long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper! (sic)." (Source)

Amanda Bynes suing police over mistaken arrest

Amanda Bynes, who was recently taken into custody after officers allegedly found marijuana in her apartment following building complaints, has revealed her plans to file a lawsuit against the New York City Police Department for her "mistaken arrest."

The 27-year-old actress was arrested in the middle of widespread speculation that she is either mentally ill or under the influence of drugs.

Just after her detainment, Bynes started sharing her thoughts about her experience, with her fans on Twitter, Stuff.co.nz reported.

"I'm suing NYPD for illegally entering my apartment, lying about drugs on me and lying about me tampering with non existent drug paraphernalia, then I'm suing for being put into a mental hospital against my will," she wrote.

"Then I'm suing for being put into a mental hospital against my will, then locked up overnight for coming home after a facial and working out with my trainer like the good girl that I am," she tweeted.

Byne also claimed that she is "allergic to alcohol and drugs" and is "proud" to not be a user of either.

The 'Big Fat Liar' star, who apparently threw a marijuana water pipe out of her midtown apartment window when cops arrived, also tweeted that she is suing her apartment complex for "lying" about her smoking in her building.

Byne closed the sermon by saying: "Thankfully I'm an educated multi-millionaire who knows better than to speak to perverted unjust cops without my lawyer." (Source)

Amanda Bynes is planning to start a career as a rapper.

The former child star, who was arrested last Thursday after officers allegedly found marijuana in her apartment following building complaints, took over to twitter to reveal her plans of starting a career in rapping and getting a nose job done, Stuff.co.nz reported.

"I'm free forever!" she wrote.

"You can't lock up an innocent person! Thanks for caring! Look forward to seeing me in music videos! I'm getting in shape and getting a nose job!"

Amanda Bynes accuses cop of sexual harassment

Actress Amanda Bynes has claimed that she was sexually harassed by a cop who arrested her Thursday night, according to contactmusic.com.

Bynes, 27, who was arrested from her New York City apartment, was charged in court with attempted evidence tampering, reckless endangerment and marijuana possession a day after her arrest.

"Don't believe the reports about me being arrested. It's all lies. I was sexually harassed by one of the cops who arrested me the night before last," tweeted Bynes later.

"He lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious. He slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment. Big deal. I then called the cops on him. He handcuffed me, which I resisted," she added.

The actress is upset that she was initially sent to hospital, a move which she describes as "offensive". (Source)

Amanda Bynes arrested for drug possession

Actress Amanda Bynes was arrested at her apartment here for possession of marijuana. She even threw the evidence out of the window, reports tmz.com.

She was arrested Thursday night.

A building official called police after spotting Bynes in the lobby with a joint, acting erratically and talking to herself, said law enforcement sources.

Bynes let the policemen in when they knocked at her door, and when the police saw the bong, she quickly tossed it out of the window.

Bynes, wearing a platinum blonde wig, was placed under arrest. She reportedly went ballistic, and yelled at the police, asking: "Don't you know who I am?"

She was booked for criminal possession of pot as well as reckless endangerment and felony tampering with evidence, as per the tmz.com report.

Law enforcement sources also revealed that the actress was briefly taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation and then taken to the station for booking.

She was then taken to the night court just before the clock struck midnight. (Source)
