Doctors advise Rihanna to stop partying

Rihanna has reportedly been advised to take rest and stop partying if she wants to fulfil her touring commitments.

The singer was suffering from a medical condition called laryngitis and doctors have suggested her to make some lifestyle changes.

"Rihanna's illness was so severe that doctors warned it could take months for her to fully recover. There were worries that she'd have to cancel her entire Diamond World Tour," thesun.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

"She was forced to cancel two concerts in Baltimore and Boston after coming down with laryngitis. She has since resumed the tour and promised to reschedule the cancelled shows," the source added.

"Rihanna is scared.She loves to smoke, drink and stay up late. Her body was bound to need a break at some point. She's now on a mission to start looking after herself," said the source.

Insiders also claim that Rihanna recognises her relationship with Chris Brown isn't having a positive influence on her.

"Rihanna has received death threats, verbal attacks and has fallen out with some of her best friends recently, including Katy Perry. This has taken a huge emotional toll," the source added. (Source)

Blake Lively to play Freddie Mercury's girlfriend

Hollywood actress Blake Lively is in talks to play legendary musician Freddie Mercury's former girlfriend Mary Austin in the forthcoming biopic about the late Queen singer.

The 25-year-old is expected to play opposite actor-comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.

Mercury and Austin were introduced by Queen's guitarist Brian. They were inseparable in the early 1970s until Mercury had an affair with a male American record executive at Elektra Records.

However, they remained close friends until his death in 1991.

The film rumoured to be directed by Tom Hooper. And Cohen is said to be undertaking intense training to copy Mercury's powerful singing voice and mannerisms.

"Cohen is a huge Queen fan and is focused on getting Mercury's mannerisms, style and speech perfect," femalefirst.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

"He is working on building his vocals. It is an uphill task, because Mercury has such a unique power and tone," the source added. (Source)

Max Irons enjoys working with Saoirse Ronan

Hollywood actor Max Irons says he enjoys working with co-star Saoirse Ronan in his forthcoming film, Andrew Niccol's "The Host".

It's a big screen adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's latest novel with the same name.

Irons is working with Ronan for the first time in the film.

"From the first moment I met her in London, I knew it was going to be easy. Some people are just easy to work with," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Irons as saying.

"You can't define her charm it's just there it's all there, everything. She is always spot-on and perfectly informed," he added.

"It still amazes me that she was 17 when we shot the film. I worked most closely with her and with William Hurt, two masters of their craft, and both were so humble, patient and generous. I listened and learned a lot from Hurt, he is a master," said Irons.

"The Host" is the latest Meyer novel to be adapted for the big screen and it sees back in the director's chair. It is set to release March 29. (Source)

Ryan Gosling, Charlize Theron to work together in Pistorius movie

Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling and South African beauty Charlize Theron are in talks to play athlete Oscar Pistorius and his late model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in a forthcoming biopic.

Gosling recently announced he was taking a break from acting but he couldn't say no to such a high-profile role, reports thesun.co.uk.

The Daily Mail claim that a number of scripts are being developed in Hollywood which tell the tragic story of South Africa's one-time Paralympian hero and the fateful Valentine's Day morning when his girlfriend was shot and killed.

Pistorious, who is currently on bail, denies murder and claims he mistook Steenkamp for an intruder.

According to the sources two scripts are being developed in Hollywood with an announcement expected soon from one of the major film studios. (Source)

Angela Bassett, Morgan Freeman to work in 'Olympus has Fallen'

Hollywood actress Angela Bassett reveals that initially she was nervous about working with Morgan Freeman.

Bassett and Freeman are working together for the first time in Antoine Fuqua's latest action movie "Olympus Has Fallen."

"I was initially nervous but felt comfortable later. He was nothing but professional, kind, warm and fun, and you know, a treat," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Bassett as saying.

"Olympus Has Fallen" is Fuqua's first project.

The movie also marks the return to the big screen for Bassett, who we haven't seen since "This Means War".

She has also completed "White Bird in a Blizzard" and she is currently filming "Black Nativity" with Forest Whitaker and Jennifer Hudson.
