Late actress Elizabeth
Taylor's first wedding dress will be auctioned by Christie's here June 26. It
is expected to raise 50,000 pounds.
The Helen Rose-designed shell-white
satin gown was worn by her when she married Hilton Hotel founder Conrad Hilton
in 1950, femalefirst.co.uk reports.
Taylor was gifted the dress by
film studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to which the "Cleopatra" actress was
contracted.
The star, who died in 2011
from congestive heart failure, married seven more times. (Source)
