Actor Jackie Chan is the first
person to leave his prints twice to be placed at Hollywood Boulevard's Chinese
Theatre here.
Chan first made his mark at
the theatre's forecourt in 1997 alongside actress Marilyn Monroe and actor
Clark Gable.
His first cement slab got lost
when owners changed over, and the landmark became the TCL Chinese Theatre,
reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Recalling his debut at the
location, he said: "The first time in the Chinese Theatre, I walked on the
red carpet and I saw several stars giving interviews. At that time I had
nothing to do. I just stood there and looked around. Those years I dreamed.
Gradually, I got there."
His "Rush Hour"
co-star Chris Tucker and "The Karate Kid" co-star Jaden Smith were
there to cheer him as he left imprints of his hands, feet and nose on wet
cement. The slab will join several other such slabs of celebrities' imprints. (Source)
