Girls Aloud has recently come under the spotlight again
in the wake of their split and sources have revealed that the group fell victim
to the tons of cat fights between the members.
According to the sources close to the pop girl group,
Britain's best loved bands put on a brave face when they threw a farewell party
during the week, despite the fighting and battle of egos that led to the end,
the Daily Star reported.
The latest fight to rock the chart-topping band erupted
when Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts declared they were through with the group
for good, but stunned Nadine Coyle and Kimberly Walsh demanded the door be left
open for a return and new album within two years.
An insider revealed that it was really dramatic and there
were a lot of tears as Coyle and Cole were both fighting their corner and
nobody was prepared to budge.
Coyle was accusing 29-year-old Cole of being selfish and
saying she was trying to control everything and ruining their futures in the
music business, behind her back, the source said.
The insider added that she was also complaining that she
didn't get paid enough for the tour and should have got at least double the
money for doing all the lead vocals night after night.
Sources added that Cole though it was nonsense and they
only ever agreed to get back together for an anniversary tour and then leave it
at that, but she thinks Coyle is just thinking of herself because her solo
career failed.
Sources say Coyle's tweet that the split was not her
choice was an act of revenge against Cole. (Source)
